One of the greatest assets of Kentucky is the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  If you are traveling through the area you should explore the six distilleries to include: Four Roses, Heaven Hill, Jim Beam, Marker’s Mark, Wild Turkey and Woodford Reserve.  The distilleries are all slightly different but all have a well informed tour guide that explains how bourbon is made.
