Today is the first Saturday of 2019. Whatcha gonna do about that?
Well, I am not going to do whatever it is that Sir Elton John is doing; however, I do plan on doing one thing new.
You know what made 2018 so great? Well it was a year full of first. Here is my chance to make my first new first on the first Saturday of 2019.
Silly me! I love playing with words. I guess you could say that is one of my first of first of the first Saturday of 2019, I just used one single word three times in a sentence. LOL!
This is a list of the many new things I could do today, the first Saturday of 2019.
- Paint a new subject
- Cook a new recipe
- Watch a new show
- Try a new exercise
- Go to a new place
- Start a new book
- Meet a new person
- Learn a new word from the Urban Dictionary
- Play a joke on my two loves
Ok, I get it my list is kind of boring. Yeah, I know. The truth is my list or your list does not have to be soul seeking scary, cost a fortune, take too much time, cause pain or injury or anything of too extreme. Instead, my new first of first of the first Saturday in 2019 just needs to be something new to me. This first just has to be any attempt at something outside of my regular life.
That being said, I am not looking to engage in any dangerous or unethical activity nor should you. That’s not what life is about.
I am looking for new challenges in 2019 that will add to better understanding and appreciation of humanity in myself that will make the world better. I encourage you to do the same, even if it is a small as learning a new dance from Youtube. Why? Because, is Saturday, Saturday, Saturday!
